Bellanranta is located just 2.5 kilometers from Kuopio city center in a beautiful spot on the shores of Lake Kallavesi. From Kuopio Airport (Rissala, Siilinjärvi), the distance to Bellanranta is approximately 21 kilometers.

You can easily reach us by car, Vilkku city bike, or local bus. For those arriving by water, there is a cozy guest pier located next to Saana.

By car

The drive from the city center takes about 10 minutes, and the route is usually traffic-free. There are plenty of free parking spaces available, for example, in front of Saana and Huippu Center.

By city bike

Ebikes are a handy and easy way to reach Bellanranta. The nearest station is located at the Saana parking lot. Register as a Vilkku-bike user and download the Freebike mobile app to locate and pay for your bike.

By boat

The guest pier at Saana is cozy and close to all services. For boaters, an overnight stay costs €18, including water, electricity, and waste management. Bellanranta also features a fuel station and a septic tank pump-out station.

By train

Kuopio has excellent train connections from across Finland, arriving directly in the city center. The travel time from Helsinki is approximately 4.5 hours.

By plane

Kuopio Airport is located in Rissala, Siilinjärvi, about 14 km from the city center. A taxi or car ride from the airport to Bellanranta takes about 20 minutes. Local bus line 40 operates between the airport and the city center.
