Bellanranta Venetian Festival
As August evenings grow darker, the lake becomes calm, and lights begin to shimmer across the water, Bellanranta Venetian Festival returns for the eighth time to celebrate the end of the summer and boating season.
The Festival of Fire, Water, and Light offers a full evening of entertainment and activities for all ages.
Bellanpuisto’s activities and summer café will be open with extended hours from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Throughout the evening, the terrace at Saana will come alive with a DJ playing beloved Finnish pop and rock hits. Saana’s restaurants will serve delicious food, including a buffet dinner and an Italian pizza buffet. Saana Sauna & Spa will be open with extended opening hours until 11:00 PM.
The evening will culminate in spectacular fire shows at Saana, the traditional Venetian bonfire lit on the lake, and beautiful decorative lighting that transforms the shores of Lake Kallavesi into a magical celebration setting, creating a truly unforgettable atmosphere as the summer evening turns to night.
One hundred torches will light up Joutsenpuisto at Bellanranta, illuminating the darkening summer evening (weather permitting).

- 11:00 AM–1:00 PM Children’s JUJU Mini Golf Competition (free of charge), Bellanpuisto
- 11:00 AM–11:00 PM Citygolf under the evening lights, Bellanpuisto
- 2:30–3:30 PM Distillery Tour, Lignell & Piispanen Visitor Centre
- 3:00–9:00 PM Kuopio Open Pétanque Championships (open to everyone), Bellanpuisto
- 3:30–4:15 PM Tasting, Lignell & Piispanen Visitor Centre
- 5:00–7:00 PM Cocktail Class, Lignell & Piispanen Visitor Centre
