Bella Wake Water Activity Centre Opened
Kuopio’s most exciting water activity centre, Bella Wake, opened its doors Sunday, May 31, 2026, officially kicking off the summer season at the Bellanranta shoreline!
Located on Lake Kallavesi right next to the Saana Tourist Centre, this floating aqua park offers thrills, joy, and the best water activities of the summer for both children and adults. The water park is also a perfect venue for children’s birthday parties, bachelor or bachelorette parties, company summer kick-offs, and team-building or recreation days.
During the summer, you can enjoy these water experiences daily from 11:00 to 19:00 (weather permitting). Please note the exception from June 8 to June 12, when the water park will be open from 16:00 to 19:00. Midsummer opening hours will be announced at a later date.
SUP boards, kayaks, and jet skis are available for rent throughout the summer. You can make an advance booking using the calendar on our website. Guided water excursions with a professional guide are also available by advance request. Guided SUP yoga classes will run from June 30 to August 4, held on Tuesdays at 18:30.
A relaxed, fully licensed lakeside café serves visitors right on the shore, allowing you to enjoy the summer day with cold refreshments and ice cream treats in between your water activities.
After a fun-filled day at the water park, you can extend your experience by relaxing at the adjacent Saana Sauna & SPA. Please note that the SPA is restricted to adults only (18+) daily after 18:00. Spa tickets must be purchased separately.
There are still spots available for Bella Wake’s two popular active summer camps for children (June 1–4 and June 15–18). The camp week features water park fun, excursions, games, mini-golf, and plenty of other exciting activities.
